I’m no expert but I have relaxed hair down to the middle of my back. I wash my hair about a week after getting my hair done so the relaxer will have the full effect. After washing my hair I detangle it with infusium leave in conditioner. Then I blow dry it on low. After that I apply a thermal protector spray to protect my hair.Next I straighten my hair with a chi straightener. I then apply a shine spray to add a healthy shine. At night use a head scarf to protect your hair from damage.

Heyy gurl. I am 14 and really want to be a hair stylist so here are my answers to your questions. 1.It usually depends on ur genes. Does your mom have long hair? Sister? If they dont then having short hair is in ur genes. I know I know you might be thinking” craaaaap!” but you CAN stimulate hair growth.2 I hear Drinking, More Than Average,Water helps the keratins(basiclly wat ur hair needs) healthy, since 14% of your hair relys on water. 3. EXCERSIZE! gurl running 10minutes a day will make your body healthy. Therefore since healthy hair relys also on a health body, it will grow better the more healthy your body is.4. Leave YOUR HAIR ALLLOOOONNNEEE!!! lol this is really hard for me cuz I LOVE MESSING WITH MY HAIR! BUT for the past 4months i have mousterized my hair with Organic Root Stimulator Mousturizer and then combed it into a ponytail every single day, and only washed my hair twice a week.(ik gross right) Just 2days ago i took a picture of my hair and compared it to my hair pics from 6months ago… and OMGGGGG my hair has grown a good inch and a half!!! I am so excited!! 5. Wrap your hair with a tie up hair silken wrap every time u go to sleep, take a nap, or wear a knit/wool hat because if u dont wear one, Your hair will catch on the pillow and break off.
and all ur hard work went out the window. if u go to http://www.sallysbeauty.com you can probably find a tie up wrap. You should probably buy two because one usually doesnt stay on while ur thrashing about in the middle of the night. lol 6. Dont apply heat. At all. No Heat!!!NOO! This WILL ruin ur hair if u dont apply the right heat protectants to ur hair.7. Simple styles help keep the hair from breaking and getting brittle. Like ponytails and buns. If you dont apply enough moisturizer to ur hair before putting it in a scrunchy or non-metal hair band then it will eventually start to shed.8 find a good product for ur hair. Organic Root Stimulator is a great product and alot of ppl use it. just add .com to the name and thats their website lol. So basically following these steps you can slowly get to longer but lasting hair
If you have any questions just email me
Sorry for babbling on nd on.
1.DONT STRAIGHTEN PERMED HAIR IT WILL BREAK OFF
2.MAKE SURE YOUR HAIR IS ALWAYS GREASED NOT OVER GREASED THOUGH
3.TRY BRAIDING YOUR HAIR AND LEAVING IT UP TO 3 MONTHS AND THEN TAKE IT OUT AND YOU WILL GET GOOD AND REAL RESULTS BUT MAKE SURE YOU HAIR IS GREASED
4. TRY USING AFRICAS BEST PRODUCTS
After I perm my hair, I put in kera care leave in conditioner and then I spray a little kera care silken seal. I also use a little bit of Mizani thermasmooth heat protectant (it’s a bit pricey, but it works). I roller set my hair, but I used to blow dry it. I stopped blow drying my hair because I wanted to put less stress on my hair. So, yeah, I roller set it. But before that, I would comb my hair straight back and put some foam wrap (kera care, but you can use At One foam wrap as well) and go under the dryer to half dry my hair. Then I would blow dry it the rest of the way dry. I section my hair and clip my ends, flat iron, then finish it off with a little more of the silken seal. My cousin uses cantu shea butter oil.. but not too much.
This works for me. I’ve been doing my hair forever and all of my cousin’s refuse to pay anyone to do their hair because they like the way it turns out when I do it.I hope this helps. Oh yeah… Don’t grease your scalp. It weighs down your hair and clogs your pores/follicles.
